There’s no story this time, just a few photos of things I found interesting during our six hour cruise to the Broughtons.
We were on our way at 5:00 to minimize flow at Green Point and Whirlpool rapids. It’s impossible to catch both at slack due to the distance between them. Also, as you head north, the one furthest from you reaches slack first.
if you’re keeping track, this completes the third and final “gate” that we will cross on this voyage. With planning and a little luck, we cruised the sometimes-awful Johnstone Strait in windless conditions.
Now we just have three gates to cross to get home!
